Sheltering In Place

Greetings!  We hope that you are all well, safe and secure.  If you are not, please reach out for help! We are a community and here to support each other. This is not the time to withdraw even further than the virus requires of us.

We are keeping our community engaged, growing, learning, sharing our lives and supporting each other and ourselves.  Aahara has made a tremendous difference in our lives, and we will continue to provide events that support our community. The format is changing (at least temporarily) but our commitment to you is strong and creatively evolving through this global pandemic!

Online Events

We now have a weekly online meeting Mondays at 6:30 p.m. (see below). This is an opportunity to connect with your tribe and receive a teaching, guided meditation and sometimes a Shamanic journey or Shamanic Breathwork. Email Carley at carleymattimore at gmail.com if you would like to be included.

Aahara’s 12-Step meetings are now taking place online, 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. every Tuesday. Email John (johnmalan at gmail.com) for instructions on how to connect to the meeting.

Dare is also online.  The next meeting will be April 11, 9:30 – 11 a.m.  Again, email John (johnmalan at gmail.com) for the meeting information.

You will see that we have begun to assign tentative dates to events that we postponed.  If all goes well we hope to resume our in-person workshops in June.

The shamanic nature of life on earth is showing itself with greater clarity and force than ever before.  We are being called, now is the time, we are the ones we have been waiting for.

Using Zoom

We are hosting events online, currently using Zoom, for as long as the pandemic restrictions last.  If you haven’t used Zoom before, it is very easy and can be accessed by computer or telephone, with or without access to the Internet.  If you join by computer or smartphone we can use the video component to see each other.  If you don’t, or your connection isn’t fast enough, you can still connect by voice.
